Work permit
This is a proof that you have a new job. This is generally a proof that is essential when you want to get an EB visa.
If you have a work permit, you can make multiple EB visas for up to 1 year! Of course, if you only do it for 6 months, you can make a 6-month multiple visa without a work permit

Work permit penalty
If you have to stay in Cambodia while continuing to extend with an EB visa, a work permit is a must!
If you don’t use a trick, you will continue to need a work permit!
A work permit is valid for 1 year~ After 1 year, you will have to make a new work permit!
The cost is the same!
If you make a 6-month EB visa and want to make it a 1-year visa later, you will have to apply for a work permit and proceed!
However, there is a problem here
There is a provision in Cambodian law that you must make a work permit when making a 6-month EB visa
However, when making a 6-month EB visa, Cambodia will make it without a work permit!
However, when making a 1-year work permit the next time, Cambodian law requires that you check whether you made a work permit when making a 6-month EB visa. If you don’t have a work permit at that time, Yes, you have to pay a fine of about $500 per year (the fine may change according to Cambodian law)
If I continued with a 6-month EB visa and need to make a 1-year visa or work permit later!
You can avoid the fine by going to Korea and making a new passport, entering the country with an E visa, making a work permit, and making a 1-year visa!
Caution: You cannot make a passport at the embassy! You have to check if your existing passport number will change when you make it in Korea!
It will not work if you use the existing passport number!

Express
This is the method needed for those who want to extend their visas quickly!
Generally, it takes about 2 weeks (business hours) to extend a visa.
Of course, sometimes it may be randomly accelerated by a few days, but the basic period is about 2 weeks!
If you are in a hurry, you can apply for express processing and get it quickly within 2-3 days!
Sometimes, you can apply for a visa extension and wait for about 2 weeks, and if something suddenly comes up, contact the office and say that you need your passport because something urgent is happening.
The person in charge can contact the relevant department and request that you change to express processing and receive it!
Of course, the express processing fee is the same, but if you suddenly ask for it to be removed on the same day during business hours, an additional fee may be incurred, so please keep that in mind.
